Preparation
We have waited a long time (~2 years) and finally we have a travel date. We are currently preparing for the trip. Thanks to the people of Hopeful Hearts Foundation for all of your support to get us this far. We are optimistic that we have been prepared for the trip and that the facilitators in Ukraine will give great guidance. Thanks to those in our families, church family and friends who will be watching out for our kids while we are away. We know they will be well taken care of and loved. We are grateful to everyone who has been supportive throughout our journey thus far. Thanks to our children for being so mature and understanding during the stresses of this process. It is truly a family mission. Thanks to God for calling our family to this and for giving us the ability to share in His glory. Please pray for us and our family as we continue with the adoption process. Pray that God leads us to the child that He has chosen for us and that the travel is uneventful. We faithfully believe that the Lord has and will continue to walk with our family during this adoption process. We love you and appreciate your support.

We are so very excited about our addition/s to the family. Mom-Mom and I will have great fun taking care of the grandkids while you are away. OK Coleton has called me Mamaw and Dad today. He says he is having a magraine headache. This is so exciting! I can't wait to see what God has in store for you all. I know He will truly bless your family richly. We had to get a special password to write to you guys but everything is fine now.

It is great hearing from you and Maxim sounds wonderful. He is going to love his new family, you & maxim are both fortunate to have found each other. I know that God is smiling right now. He made you wait for a little while but it seems he had the perfect little guy to complete your family (our family). I can't wait for you and Jim to get home so I can finally meet him. I talked with Amber this morning and she was about 10 minutes from Virginia. She is enjoying her time with Mamaw LaDonna. I hope to talk with the boys after school.
