Max was great on the airplane. He did cry during the landing but most kids do because of the ear pain. We are back in the original flat we started in and Max loves it We gave him his first bath and he had a lot of other firsts yesterday and today. The internet club here isn't as great or as close to our flat as the one we found in Kiev. We are not sure how long or how often we will be able to post. We will do our best to keep everyone informed. Everyone is doing great and we are sharing our experiences with another couple that is sharing the flat with us. They are also adopting but from a different region. It is neat to talk with them and see the similarities and difference in our experiences. We love you. Keep the comments coming.

Well tomorrow is the big day. Everyone was thinking Jim's birthday right? Well it is my birthday but it is also the day we get Max for good. We should be busy during the day and Our flight for Kiev departs at 6:10 p.m. local time. We are so glad we are flying back. I think we will have our hands full with Max. We can't wait though. We presented our gifts to the orphanage staff and had Maxim's farewell celebration with his group today. It was really neat. It was the first time they let us enter the room. Before today all we had done was peek in whenever they would bring him out. You can see a picture of the door to the left. They also allowed us to take pictures. I did not post any of the ones with his group but we can show them later. Later they allowed us to go back in and take pictures of the group room while the children were gone to the bathroom. That's right they do everything together. We think Max will miss his friends for a little while. He'll be just fine once we get him home to his new family and friends. In the pictures you can see the kitchen area, a play area and their toys. You can also see his bed. We got to see his injured finger for the first time today. While the kids were playing at the party his bandages came off. It is healing but you can tell it was a significant injury to the tip of his middle finger. I would guess it would have required stiches if we were at home. Hopefully it will heal properly. We found out yesterday from Olga that when we get to Kiev we will be staying at the home of one of the main facilitators. Her name is Galya. We were kind of hoping we would get to meet her while we were here so it looks like we will. She is the one who translated our dossier (both times). We are already packed and ready for tomorrow. Thanks for all of the love and continued support. Hopefully we can post again on Saturday from Kiev. We have our appointment with the U.S. Embassy on Tuesday morning and are still planning on trying to fly home Wednesday. We will keep everyone posted. We won't confirm our tickets until we get back to Kiev.

Congratulations to Rex and Grace for finding the hidden message! I know it wasn't that tough. Maxim is a popular name here so several different shops carry the name. This one happens to be a small grocery/deli and it also sells DVDs and magazines. In the picture of me and Max, we are standing just outside the fence that surrounds the orphanage. It is most likely that he has never been outside this fence since he was brought here. He seemed very interested in what was going on. He has a whole new world in store for him in a couple more days! Today we went and purchased some gifts and supplies for the going away celebration for Maxims group and caregivers. We will celebrate a day early since the orphanage has already planned another celebration for Friday for the whole orphanage. It is a day to celebrate the protection of childrens rights. We are not sure yet how much we will be able to participate since we will be finalizing some paperwork (court decree, birth certificate, passport for Max etc.). Something humorous we have encountered several times that you may be interested in. Any time we are having trouble comunicating with the locals, they speak louder and slower. Guess what? We still don't understand Russian. That is primarily what they speak here since it is so close to Russia. I don't blame them I have done it myself many times but until you are on the other side of the language barrier you don't see the humor as much. Another observation...Man purses are common. Not brief cases or satchels, actual small handbags. I can't say too much though since I've been walking around the whole time with a fanny pack. We are still making the most of things. However, we are so glad that things have gone smoothly and we will get to come home soon. It rained today for the first time since we have been here. It was a brief shower and blew over quickly but it was nice. Maxims face has healed well and they tell us his finger is looking much better. It is always wrapped with gauze so we haven't gotten to see it since he injured it. I'm not sure how much we will be able to post between now and when we get back to Kiev so it could be Saturday or Sunday before I post again. I will try as much as I can. Keep checking. We enjoy the blog as much as you do so if we can post we will. We love you and will talk with you soon.

Here is Max eating some fruit snacks and playing with Mom. He prefers drinking out of the water bottle now. Mid way through the meeting it was obvious how tired he was so Iris rocked him to sleep. Isn't the close up cute? The temperature outside today is about twenty degrees cooler and it is a windy day so after the meeting we had the taxi drop us off early so we could walk. It was a nice walk and I was able to take some pictures I had been wanting to get for a while. There is one of the opera house. One picture has a hidden message in it. Can you find it? We took a photo of a couple of police. It is bizarre how they get people to pull over. They are rarely inside their vehicle unless they are driving somewhere. They usually stand outside there car like in the picture. When they want you to pull over they just point at you with their baton and motion toward the curb. It works. We haven't seen anyone ignore them yet. It would work for me. I would not want to spend any time in a Ukrainian jail. How do you like the huge cannon? One of the photos is of an orthodox church. Many of the orthodox churches are very ornate. Not much else to talk about today. We are going to walk around the city a little more and maybe pick up a few items from the grocery before we go back to the flat. We are going to enjoy this cool day while we can. We thought you might like to see the internet club we have been using most of the time. It is about a 15 minute walk from the flat. There are closer ones but the computers are slower there is no usb hook-up for pictures and they are crowded and hot. This one is smaller less busy and of better quality. We enjoy the walks anyway. We went to church this morning. The church is called Word of Life Church. It was founded by one of the first Christian missionaries to come to Russia. He was a Swiss man named Olef Eckman. The church has four 2 hour services you can attend. We chose to go to the one that started at 9:00 am. The building is not air conditioned so we wanted to go when it wouldn't be too hot. You can see the building in the pictures. One shot of the outside and one of the sanctuary just before services started. I would say it was about 90% full once they actually started. They are currently using an old movie theatre for their church. They are collecting money to build a new church. There are fliers and a scale model inside the church. It looks like it will be real nice. They televise the services nationally so this is a well known church. They start out with some praise and worship songs. The band and singers on stage lead the congregation. There are transparency projectors for people to sing along. Everyone stands and sings very energetically. Most seem to have the words memorized and clap their hands along with the beat or raise their hands in the air. It is more typical of a special praise and worship service or christian concert at home. I guess since it is televised they put a little more into the choreography. After that they allowed a couple of people from the audience (preselected) to share testimony of how God was working in their life. Then they sang some more. After that they allowed newly engaged couples or newly married couples to come to the front (one of each came forward) and be acknowledged by the church and have a prayer of blessing for them. They also invited newly born children but none came forward. The next part was a small sermon and praise time for offering. The main sermon today was focused largely on The Holy Spirit. Several scriptures were referenced and the serman followed exactly with the scripture contents according the the translations Olga was giving us. What was really neat is that a large part of the scripture referenced was from John 14. If you look to the right and top of the blog you will see the verse we selected before we came which is also from John 14. Everything just seems perfect. We can tell the Lord is leading us through this journey. We always have believed this but the signs are becoming so obvious. What a blessing that He has chosen our family to pursue this calling. That includes all of you, our extended family and friends. We are greatful for the love and support everyone has shown. It has already been such a rewarding journey and we haven't even gotten Max home yet. After church we went out to eat at a restaurant called the Golden Lion. It is labeled an Irish Pub but it was more of a theme than an actual pub. The food was good and we enjoyed the lunch. I ordered apple pie with ice cream for dessert. How American is that? It was good but their sweets here are generally not as sweet as we are used to. At home I usually don't prefer real rich tasting sweets but the ones here have been real bland. One of the pictures is the stand were My Russian friend and I had the long conversation that night when I went for some water. He wasn't here today just his wife. I will try and talk with him again before we leave. The last picture is of some men playing dominoes outside their buliding. I thought it was a good example of their culture. You may have to enlarge it to see them. I did not want to take the picture too close in case they might not like it. We hope everyone is doing well and we will have to get caught up with everyone when we get home. I'm sure there will be much to talk about. Well you can tell Iris and then she can relay it to me like usual. Ha Ha. I have to give her a lot of credit she has adjusted well to no cell phone and no Mountain Dew. I new she would though, she has always been able to do anything she set her mind to. We are making the most of the trip and enjoying the moments. All the while we can not wait to get home. It will be here before we know it.

Hello again from Donetsk. We hope everthing is going well for everyone at home. It has been so great to use this blog to keep in touch with everyone. Thanks for all of the interest and comments. We let max drink from a water bottle by himself yesturday. They were the ones we had brought for ourselves but he wanted to try, so we let him. He does pretty good and usually doesn't spill any. There was one time that he spilled a little on the ground. When he bent over to try and wipe it up with his hand he spilled a little more. This continued for a about three more trys before he gave up and wanted his hand cleaned up. It was just like a video clip we saw on America Funniest Home Videos where a boy kept spilling milk and trying to clean it up. I tried to catch a picture of it but by the time I thought to get my camera it was too late. If you have seen the video you will know what I mean. It was pretty funny. Today's one meeting went very well. We won't see him tommorrow. Olga has selected a couple church options for us so we are looking forward to going. Last night we ate at a really good Japanese place called Kobuki. The quality of the food was just as good as the ones we go to at home and it was cheaper (see picture). Today after the meeting we went to a shoping mall. It was nice. Not much different then any American mall. There were not any giant department stores in it. Mostly smaller specialized clothing stores....Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi Strauss, etc. As I have said before clothes in general are much more expensive here. Especially if you buy trendy clothes. A $30 pair of Levi's at home sells for the equivalent of $110 here. We purchased a few small items and just had a relaxed stroll through the mall. We ate lunch at the food court (Sbarro). I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Hey Kids, just a couple more days until school is out! It is going to be fun when we get home. A few people have asked us about a welcome home party. I think it is a nice idea. There are many people who are interested in seeing Max and most of them could come to the party.

It was another hot day today (93 degrees F). The morning meeting was a little rough for Max since he was tired and cranky but the afternoon meeting was real nice. That is typical. Our morning meetings are at 10:00 am and he is generally tired then and ready for a nap. The afternoon meetings are usually better (3:30 pm). They are all valuable bonding times so we are happy to take what we can get. We will only get one meeting again this Saturday, none on Sunday and only one on Monday since it is a holiday (Holy Trinity Day). We had some success finding clothes for Max today. We had some time around lunch so we went to the open market. We were not pleased with what we saw there so we decided to go eat at McDonalds. After that we walked toward our flat and not far from the flat we discovered a small clothing store. The window display showed a mixture of adult and childrens clothing. We decided to check it out. Once inside we found some "nice" outfits for max at much more reasonable prices. We ended up getting him 5 outfits, socks and pajamas all for the same price as one in the other stores (~80 dollars).

Hello everyone. The comments have been great. Keep them coming. Isn't this picture cute? They have finally started to dress him for the weather. When we first started visiting they would dress him in three layers of clothes to go outside. The weather is unseasonably hot here (92 degrees). Olga told us that the news explained that it is the hottest it has been in the last 100 years for this month. It is hot but nothing unbearable for us. It seems to affect them more. I guess they aren't as used to it as we are. Maybe I should tell them it is not the heat it is the humidity. Ha Ha. It would not translate well so I won't. As you can see we have found yet another way Maxim is going to fit into our family. He is just as accident prone as the other three. He fell again and scraped his face pretty good. He also has a little bit of a stubborn streak. Good thing we have plenty of practice with that. He is pretty independant. No doubt a product of his environment. He is slowly starting to understand more. Today he was walking away from us (doing his own thing) and when we called for him he came back. He is consistently calling us Mama and Papa now. He still calls the caregivers mama as well. It may take a while to break him of that. We have learned a little more Ukranian. One of our favorite words is Kiss (sounds like tsuee). Sometimes it works with Maxim and he will give us a kiss. Most of the time we are just hugging and kissing him. He loves the fruit snacks we brought him. They are his favorite treat. He said bite for the first time yesterday when he wanted them. We have been working with him every meeting to learn english words. It will be much easier when we get home and that is all he hears. We went out to eat a celebration dinner the night after court. We found a mexican restaurant called Tequilla Boom. It was pretty good. I would say a mix between Tumbleweed and On the Border. No such thing as free unlimited chips and salsa or drink refills. Overall the food has been cheap compared to America. The clothes are a diferent story. Every childrens shop we have been in shopping for clothes has been outrageous. Between $50 and $60 dollars for an outfit. We did find a cheap pair of tennis shoes today at the grocery for about $8. All of the shoes we had were also around $60 dollars. We plan on going to the open market this week. Olga thinks we will have better luck finding reasonable clothes there. We just need a few outfits to bring him home in. The last picture is of a typical Ukrainian fire engine. Just thought some of you would be interested in seeing it. Several people have asked when we are coming home. Of course there are no definates so things can change. Currently we are planning on flying back to Kiev on June 1st which is a Friday. We will have to wait until Monday to finish some work at the adoption center and Tuesday at the Us Embassy. Which would mean we could possibly leave Wednesday morning June 6th. We will keep you posted on our progress.

I know many of you have been waiting for pictures of Maxim. HERE HE IS! You can see through the balloon right? Ha Ha! Well if you can't see through balloons then just scroll down a little farther and you can see him for real. We have great news. We had court today. Another surreal experience. I will save the details for when we get home. Needless to say it was not like an American court. Never the less we are officially the parents of Maxim. Amber, Coleton and Donovan you have a new brother! We still have to wait for the official court decree until after the ten day wait. Since there is a holiday during our waiting period we have to wait longer than the ten days. So guess when we get him... On June 1st, My birthday. What a wonderful present. We want everyone to know that we can feel your love and prayers and there is no way we could have been so succesful with out the help of God. Thanks to all of the prayer warriors. We never doubted and God has rewarded us all for our faithfulness. Maxim is going to be a blessing to us all. We can't wait to get him home so everyone else can love on him. The picture under Maxim is the entrance to the orphanage. Below that is a nearby river and also a water foutain. We like to go for walks when we have some spare time and these are some of the sites. Sorry if we do not answer all of the questions specifically. We promise to answer all of them when we get home. Don't let that stop you from adding comments. We love you all very much.

We ended up needing to get some information from the US Embassy web-site so we decided to post today. Here are some more pictures you may be interested in. The first one is a statue of Aptema the founding father of the city. After that is a picture of us standing in front of what we believe is a World War II memorial. Then there are some pictures we took while walking around the square during the Miss Donetsk contest. The first is a statue of Lenin. The next is of a street performer. The last picture is just looking down the main city street named after Aptema. We did not stick around long enough to actually watch the pagent. We saw a little bit of the pre concert. There were two main singers one male and one female. The crowd seemed to like them. Although it was packed and many people were drinking it was under control. There were a lot of families with small children walking around and there was even a place with small rides like you would see at a county fair. The law for alcohol use only applies to hard liquor for which you must be 21. It is weird seeing youth walking around in public drinking beer. The first one is the entrance door. The second is the balcony. Next is the living room and then kitchen. The last two are of the bathroom. Although the outside looks rough you can see that the inside is nice and typical of most American hotels for more money. The flat that was 10 dollars less per day was a lot less quality and features. It also smelled like sewer gas. We were glad to pay the extra. We don't get to see Max tommorrow so we might not post. Tonight we will go out and eat and maybe walk around the city a little. There is an open square near our flat and tonight they are holding the Miss Donetsk pagent there. We may walk by there on the way home. It will most likely be very crowded so we will have to see how it goes. This would be similar to the Miss Kentucky pagent. The orphanage allowed us a little more time than normal. The morning meetings are tough because he gets tired and is ready for a nap by the end of the meeting. He is getting more used to us with each visit. He had some sort of accident yesterday and they brought him out with a bandaged finger and a sock over his hand. This morning the nurse was talking with Olga (our interpreter) and asking her to have us purchase some ointment for it. Since we were prepared we already had brought some Neosporin with us. The nurse was pleased and took our tube. She said she would use it on him. We have about a half of another tube to use when we get him for ourselves. We have to go to lunch now but plan to come back and post again tonight with some more pictures.

Thanks to everyone for all of the comments and e-mails of love and support. We are getting more confident in our ability to get around and have ventured out more on our own now while the translater/facilitator runs erands for our adoption paperwork. If I had a car I know I could drive to the orphanage by myself. The challenge would be fighting against the aggresive drivers here. I will not have to worry about it since my license is no good here and I don't have a vehicle. The taxi droped us off at the internet club toady and we will walk back to the flat. We plan to stop at a couple shops on the way back. Most of the people we encounter are nice and we feel safe even in the rougher areas of town. That does not mean that we are nieve or that we are not paying close attention to what is going on around us. It is very obvious to them that we ar American. The shoes are the biggest give away. Most all people here seem to wear dress shoes. We have only seen a couple of people with tennis shoes and they were running. If we could speak, read or understand a little more Russian it would be very easy to for us to get around by ourselves. We are learning more everyday. The meeting with Maxim today went well. He already knows to look in mama's bag for a banana and his juice. He plays peek-a-boo with us which they say "cukoo" (like the clock). I apologize if I miss spell anything but the spell check feature will not work over here. We went to the grocery yesturday without the interpretor. To use a cart you have to unlock it with a 50 cent piece which we did not have. We were sent to the information desk and although noone spoke english they had been through the drill before so all I had to do was give them a small bill and they made the change for me. The grocery was layed out similar to an American grocery and had a very wide selection of foods. The perishables were fresher and they don't shop for long periods like we do (usually only 3 days worth) so they don't have preservatives on them. You can actually buy good tasting vegetables (tomatoes) from the grocery. The hardest part is that they don'd have presliced and packaged lunch meet. Since I could not speak Russian I avoided the deli counter because I did not want to draw extra attention to us. We were getting starred at anyway since we had a full cart. We ended up buying a package of uncut ham and some salomi. The cheese was easy since it was already sliced and packaged. We bought 3 liters of what we thought was regular milk but it turns out that it was fermented milk. When we got the groceries back to the flat our translator was thinking wow these Americans like fermented milk. Later she realized what we had done and warned us before we drank it. She likes it so we told here she will have to drink a lot. It has helthful bacteria in it that is good for digestion. I don't thing we will be trying it. Another challenge was picking out condements. They are labeled and packaged differently so it os difficult to distinguish between kethup, maranade, or any other sauce. We ended up selecting what looked like a mustard sauce for the chicken. Turns out it was curry mustard and it was real good on the chicken we fixed last night for supper. We also had some rice and mixed vegetables. Our flat is very nice and much nicer than we were expecting. It is clean and has many of the amenities that we are used to. It is a one bedroom with a kitchen, living room and bathroom. We looked a t a different flat that was ten dollars cheaper per night but it was of significant less quality and features. The one we are in is only $60 per night. Pretty reasonable compared to what you would pay at home. The bathroom has a normal toilet, and even a garden

tub. The kitchen has a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave and is stocked with dishes and utensils. The living room has a couch with a fold out bed (where the interpreter sleeps). Bye the way her name is Olga and she is very nice and has been very helpful. She has a good since of humor so we have been able to joke around with each other. She is about our age so that makes it easier for us to relate. The living room even has a stereo slash DVD player. Both the living room and Master bedroom have TV's with cable. Of course there are only a couple channels that are in english, one of which is the BBC. We will post some pictures of the flat maybe next time. I have not taken pictures of it yet. Needless to say it is much nicer than we had prepared for and we are very pleased with our good fortune. The first picture is of Iris standing next to the NAC entrance on Kiev before we went in for the referal meeting. The next one is us in Detroit. The one after that was taken in the airport in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The statue in the back ground was called "Two fat black snowmen sitting". We had to take a picture. You can only see one of them from this angle, they are sitting back to back. I know every one is anxious for us to post pictures but we want to wait until after court. We don't want to risk someone from here finding it and getting mad at us. They seem to frown upon it and we want to wait until after court next week. We need to get going for now or we will be late getting back to the flat in time for the taxi to take us for our afternoon meeting at the orphanage. We love everyone.

Hello everyone! We apologize for not posting very much. It has been a whirlwind of activity so time has been sparce. It has also been more difficult than we expected to find internet clubs. Things are going very well for us so far. We have visited Maxim three times and accepted our referral after the first visit. He has a great personality and will fit very well into our family. He has blond hair, blue-grey eyes, and fair skin. He looks most like coleton without the freckles. He is small for his age (2years and 3 months) but most orphans are. This is the first internet club to have computres with usb ports. I will try to post some pictures next time but I left the camera at the flat by mistake. He was a premee at birth weighing 1.9 KG. We are currently waiting on the NAC to approve some paperwork and send it to the inspector here in Donetsk. Donetsk is a large city with a population close to 1,000,000. It is known for its coal mines that surround the city. As we drove in we passed MOUNTAINS of coal (literally). That is correct we could not get train tickets so we had to drive. The overnight ride from Kiev to get here took ten hours. Our appointment with the inspector was at 8:00am. We left Kiev at nine pm the night before. Do the math. By the time we arrived we had just enough time to find our flat to drop of our luggage and go straight to the inspectors office. We were still about 15 minutes late but we were the first couple for the day. This put us in front of several other couples. This will help things move faster for us. Most of the other couples are from Italy. We traveled from Kiev to Donetsk in a van similar to the sweet pickles van. The roads are terrible when you get outside of the big cities. They are paved but it doesn't seem like they prepare or smooth the surface under the road before they pave it. The road has ruts from the traffic and the bumps are like driving on cobblestone. None of the vehicles we have been in have shocks so that compounds the issue. Needless to say we did not sleep during the drive and we both had headaches. This was after the long flight without sleep. Once we arrived in Donetsk we went all day until 11:00 pm until we finally went to bed. We slept really well last night so we are ready for more action. All of the rushing should make it more likely for us to come home quicker. We are hoping for 3 to 31/2 weeks total. There are still many things out of our control so you never know. Even with all of this we are having a great time. We have managed to learn how to say a few things in Russian...Yes, No, Maybe, Good, Mom, Dad, Car, Thank You, Hello, Good-Bye. I have learned the currency and as long as I can see the read out for how much things cost I have no trouble paying. When they tell me and the interpreter is not around it gets interesting. Last night there was a water main break so they had shut the water down to our flat. We were planning on taking a shower since we had not had once since the first day in Kiev. It was OK since we took one this morning. I went out to buy some bottled water by myself last night around 10:00pm. The only thing open near us was a small drink stand. Luckily there was an old couple that worked there and the Man spoke broken english. It was neet he was happy to practice his english and I got the water we needed. It was amazing how much we were able to communicate with the small amount of aech otheres language we knew. I learned that he was retired from a metel sales company and he and his wife now work at the stand for extra spending money above his pension. He learned that we were in town from America to adopt. See what I mean. There was more to the conversation but I won't go into all of the details. It will leave me some stories to tell when we get home. There is alot of interesting cultural difference we can talk about. I know you want to hear more about Maxim. He is very loving. Even the first meeting went well he came right to us and played. He laughs when you play with him and if you tickle him so he is comfortable with out interactions. He has already started to try and manipulate us since he realizes we are giving him lots of attention. He has sinus drainage and his chest seems congested. We can't wait to get him out of the orphanage so we can start to give him the care he needs to get better. We both feel that he will make big improvements when we can get him to see and american doctor for proper treatment. The afternoon meeting today he actually started to cry when it was time for us to leave. He is bonding with us quickly. Which can be difficult with some orphans. He likes to throw things so we bought him a couple balls so he would not throw his sippie cup. All of our visits are outside and the ground is dirty. We get to visit him twice a day at 10:30 and 4:00. Once on Saturday and not at all on Sunday. We should have court mid to the end of next week. After that we start the ten day wait. Once the ten day wait is over he is ours and we travel to Kiev to finalize things with the US Embassey and prepare to come home. Amber, Coleton and D.J. we love you very much and we can't wait for you to meet your new brother. You are going to be so helpful. We love everyone at home and appreciate your prayers and support.

It's a brat (brother). Our appointment at the NAC went well. We were shown three boys and two girls. We chose to go visit a boy. We will get our formal referal this afternoon or tommorow afternoon. We are currently trying to buy train tickets to the region. The orphanage is in Donetsk which is in the south east part of the country (see map). Everything so far has been exciting and problem free. We know that the lord is a walking with us and we can feel everyones love. It helps to know that so many of our freinds and family will be showing love to the kids while we are away. They have been very supportive throughout the whole process and they deserve lots of love. The plane ride over was not too much fun but we wern't expecting it to be. We did not get much sleep. At least we could watch movies and play games to pass the time. Some fun facts from the trip over the ocean: air speed=650mph, wind tail speed 150 mph, altitude 35,000 feet, outside temperature at that altitude - 65 degrees F. We will probably not post again until we get to Donestk.

Ukraine Map

Preparation

We have waited a long time (~2 years) and finally we have a travel date. We are currently preparing for the trip. Thanks to the people of Hopeful Hearts Foundation for all of your support to get us this far. We are optimistic that we have been prepared for the trip and that the facilitators in Ukraine will give great guidance. Thanks to those in our families, church family and friends who will be watching out for our kids while we are away. We know they will be well taken care of and loved. We are grateful to everyone who has been supportive throughout our journey thus far. Thanks to our children for being so mature and understanding during the stresses of this process. It is truly a family mission. Thanks to God for calling our family to this and for giving us the ability to share in His glory. Please pray for us and our family as we continue with the adoption process. Pray that God leads us to the child that He has chosen for us and that the travel is uneventful.
